IN SEARCH OF STOLEN TIME narrates how the present-day labour systems and the contemporality of time have forged themselves in mutual interference since the Middle Ages. This documentary film also makes an attempt to sketch out the future development driven by cutting-edge technologies and definitions of productivity and optimisation.

Divorced hotel employee Hans seems to have lost his son Moritz forever. His ex-wife Linda wants to emigrate to Denmark with him and her new boyfriend. Although he is a man, he no longer has any say in society, because men are, after all, evolution's discontinued models.
